Saturday saw our FIG gymnasts compete. We had 2 gymnasts in this section, Cerys Mellor and Naomi Parkinson. Naomi was first to compete with a clean routine, scoring all but one difficulty skill, she finished in 9th with 15.6 and qualified for finals.
Cerys was next to compete, she performed a lovely routine, unfortunately did not score one of her difficulty elements which meant she missed out on a place in the final, she finished with a score of 14.8 in 13th, with the top 12 qualifying for the final.
Sunday saw the SNR NAC category and Olivia Parkinson was back on form with a beautiful routine, although she missed 2 of her high scoring difficulty elements she still managed a fantastic score of 15.450 and a bronze medal.
The finals for G1 was next, with Naomi finishing in 8th on Saturday we were hoping she could improve on her place and score. She did not disappoint Naomi performed a fantastic routine, scoring all her diffiuclty elements and scored a 16.250 and finished in 4th place.
